This policy distinguishes ReguMetric's original work from the public and third-party information that the research platform organizes and analyzes.
1. Purpose
This Copyright, Intellectual Property & Data Use Policy explains rights and permitted uses associated with ReguMetric technology, branding, research content, analytical structures, visualizations, reports, data organization and other platform materials. It also explains ReguMetric's treatment of public and third-party source information.
2. ReguMetric Materials
ReguMetric creates and maintains original technology and materials that may include software, source code, website design, user interfaces, branding, written content, research structures, scoring methodologies, analytical classifications, data organization, processing logic, reports, dashboards, gauges, charts, timelines, evidence presentations, research workflows, database organization, compilations, documentation and other original platform elements.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
ReguMetric materials may be protected by copyright, trademark, trade-secret, contract and other applicable intellectual-property or unfair-competition laws. The existence and scope of a particular legal right depend on the material and applicable law. This policy does not claim that every ReguMetric element is separately registered or independently protectable.
4. ReguMetric Name and Branding
The ReguMetric name, logos, visual identity, product names and related brand elements are associated with the ReguMetric platform. Users may not use ReguMetric branding in a manner that falsely suggests sponsorship, affiliation, endorsement or ownership by another person or organization.
5. Public and Third-Party Information
ReguMetric does not claim ownership of public blockchain data, government publications, third-party articles, third-party trademarks, exchange data, source-provider content or other information merely because that information is collected, referenced or displayed through ReguMetric. Rights in third-party source material remain with the applicable owners or are governed by applicable law and source terms.
6. ReguMetric Selection and Organization
Although individual source facts or public data may not belong to ReguMetric, ReguMetric may create original value through the selection, organization, normalization, classification, arrangement, processing, analysis, scoring, presentation, visualization and compilation of information. Those original elements may be protected independently of the underlying source facts.
7. Derived Intelligence
ReguMetric may create derived metrics, scores, signals, classifications, trend views, confidence measures, historical comparisons, event relationships, summaries and other analytical outputs from underlying information. These outputs are part of the ReguMetric research system and should not be confused with ownership of the underlying third-party facts.
8. Methodology and Research Structures
ReguMetric's methodology, scoring frameworks, analytical structures, research-layer organization, processing logic, internal workflows and related know-how may represent proprietary business information. Public methodology disclosures are intended to provide customers with meaningful transparency without requiring disclosure of every internal implementation detail, formula, security measure or proprietary process.
9. Personal and Internal Research Use
Subject to the Terms of Service and an active membership where required, users may access and use ReguMetric materials for lawful personal research or internal informational purposes. Access to the platform does not transfer ownership of ReguMetric technology or content.
10. Limited Sharing
Users may share limited excerpts, observations or visualizations from ReguMetric where lawful and consistent with these policies, provided the sharing does not misrepresent the material, remove important context, violate third-party rights or substitute for access to a substantial portion of the paid ReguMetric service. Appropriate attribution to ReguMetric should be maintained where applicable.
11. Prohibited Systematic Copying
Users may not systematically copy, reproduce, download, capture or extract substantial portions of ReguMetric's paid content, databases, reports, research organization or interface for redistribution, republication or creation of a substitute service except with written authorization or where applicable law expressly permits the activity.
12. Automated Scraping and Bulk Harvesting
Automated scraping, crawling, bulk harvesting, extraction or collection of ReguMetric content, member-only data, research outputs or platform structures is prohibited unless ReguMetric has provided written authorization or applicable law clearly provides otherwise. Ordinary search-engine indexing of authorized public pages is not intended to be prohibited by this section.
13. Competing Databases and Services
ReguMetric content, organization, research outputs or member-accessible data may not be systematically used to construct, train, populate or maintain an unauthorized competing database, research platform, commercial intelligence service or substantially similar substitute product.
14. Reverse Engineering and Circumvention
Users may not attempt to defeat access controls, extract protected application logic, circumvent membership restrictions, discover protected credentials or misuse technical interfaces in violation of the Terms of Service or applicable law. This section does not prohibit activity that applicable law expressly permits despite contractual restrictions.
15. Reports and Exports
ReguMetric may allow users to generate, view or export research reports, snapshots or other outputs. Unless a particular feature states otherwise, such outputs are provided for the user's lawful research or internal use and remain subject to applicable ReguMetric rights, third-party source rights and attribution requirements.
16. AI-Generated and AI-Assisted Material
ReguMetric may use artificial intelligence to assist with explanations, summaries, visualizations or reports. Rights in AI-generated or AI-assisted material can depend on applicable law, the nature of the human contribution, the underlying material and provider terms. ReguMetric does not make unsupported claims of exclusive copyright ownership in material that applicable law does not protect.
17. User Content and Inputs
Users retain any rights they lawfully hold in original content they submit to ReguMetric. By submitting content for a requested platform function, the user authorizes ReguMetric and its applicable service providers to process that content as reasonably necessary to provide, secure and improve the requested service, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
18. Feedback
If a user voluntarily provides ideas, suggestions or feedback concerning ReguMetric, the user permits ReguMetric to consider and use that feedback to develop or improve the platform without creating an obligation to compensate the user, unless ReguMetric separately agrees otherwise in writing.
19. Copyright Concerns
A person who believes that material available through ReguMetric infringes rights they own or are authorized to enforce may contact ReguMetric at info@regumetric.com with enough information to identify the material, explain the concern and allow ReguMetric to evaluate the request. ReguMetric does not represent through this policy that it has designated or registered a statutory copyright agent unless and until such a designation is actually made.
20. Source Attribution
ReguMetric may identify or link to sources where appropriate to the research feature and source type. Attribution does not mean that a third party endorses ReguMetric, and the presence of ReguMetric analysis does not mean that ReguMetric endorses every statement made by a source.
21. Third-Party Trademarks
Names, logos and trademarks belonging to exchanges, blockchain projects, companies, regulators, data providers, publishers and other third parties remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance in ReguMetric research is intended for identification, reference or informational purposes and does not by itself imply affiliation or endorsement.
22. APIs and Provider Restrictions
ReguMetric's use and presentation of information obtained through APIs, data feeds or third-party services may be subject to provider terms, licenses, technical restrictions or attribution requirements. ReguMetric may modify, restrict or discontinue a feature when necessary to comply with applicable source or provider requirements.
23. Security and Internal Materials
Nonpublic credentials, administrative tools, internal security procedures, private infrastructure information, unpublished source code and other confidential operational materials are not licensed to users merely because they interact with the ReguMetric service.
24. Unauthorized Commercial Use
ReguMetric materials may not be repackaged, resold, sublicensed or commercially distributed as a separate product or service without appropriate authorization, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
25. Enforcement
ReguMetric may investigate suspected misuse and may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the platform, customers, intellectual property, service providers or legal rights. ReguMetric may pursue available remedies where substantial unauthorized copying, access or commercial misuse occurs.
26. Changes to This Policy
ReguMetric may update this policy as the platform, research features, licensing arrangements, intellectual-property portfolio or applicable law develops. The current version will identify its effective date.
27. Related Policies
This policy should be read together with the Terms of Service, Methodology & Data Disclosure, Digital Asset & Research Disclaimer, Artificial Intelligence Disclosure and other documents available through the ReguMetric Legal & Trust Center.
