This policy is intended to make the recurring nature and cancellation terms of the membership understandable before and after purchase.
1. Scope
This Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to paid ReguMetric memberships and explains recurring billing, cancellation, access after cancellation, refunds, payment failures, price changes and related subscription administration.
2. Current Standard Membership
ReguMetric's current standard membership price is $3.99 per month. The subscription is billed monthly and automatically renews until canceled. ReguMetric does not currently offer a free trial as part of the standard membership offer.
3. Recurring Billing
By purchasing a monthly ReguMetric membership, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the displayed subscription price and applicable taxes, if any, on a recurring monthly basis until the subscription is canceled. The recurring nature of the subscription and the applicable price should be displayed before purchase authorization.
4. Billing Date
The initial payment generally establishes the subscription's recurring billing cycle. Renewal charges may occur on or around the corresponding billing date in later months, subject to the payment provider's billing rules and calendar variations.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel a recurring ReguMetric membership using the cancellation method made available through ReguMetric or its payment provider. Cancellation stops future subscription renewals. A valid cancellation should not result in additional recurring subscription charges after the effective end of the paid subscription period, except where a previously authorized or pending transaction must be resolved.
6. Access After Cancellation
Unless otherwise stated at the time of cancellation or required by law, canceling a membership ordinarily allows continued member access through the remainder of the billing period that has already been paid. Access may end when that paid period expires.
7. No Free Trial
The current standard ReguMetric membership does not include a free trial. Customers should expect the subscription charge presented at checkout to apply when the paid subscription begins, subject to the payment provider's processing procedures.
8. Refunds
Completed subscription periods are generally non-refundable and are not ordinarily prorated merely because a customer stops using the service before the end of a paid billing period. This does not limit refunds, credits or other remedies that are required by applicable law.
9. Billing Errors and Exceptions
ReguMetric may issue or facilitate a refund, credit or billing correction when appropriate, including for a duplicate charge, an incorrect charge, a ReguMetric billing error, a recurring charge processed after a valid cancellation when it should not have been charged, circumstances requiring a refund under applicable law, or another situation in which ReguMetric determines that a refund or credit is appropriate.
10. How to Report a Billing Problem
Customers should contact ReguMetric promptly after discovering a suspected billing problem and provide enough information to identify the account and transaction. Do not send complete payment-card numbers, card security codes, passwords, private keys or wallet seed phrases by email or through a ReguMetric contact form.
11. Payment Processing
Subscription payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider. ReguMetric may receive limited transaction, customer, subscription and payment-status information needed to administer membership access. Complete payment-card information may be collected and processed directly by the payment provider under its own terms and privacy practices.
12. Failed or Declined Payments
If a renewal payment fails, is declined or cannot be completed, the payment provider may retry the charge or ReguMetric may restrict or suspend paid membership access. Access may be restored after the subscription returns to an active paid status, subject to the applicable billing system.
13. Account Closure Does Not Necessarily Cancel Billing
Deleting, abandoning or ceasing to use a ReguMetric account does not necessarily cancel an active recurring subscription. Customers should use the designated subscription cancellation process to stop future renewal charges.
14. Price Changes
ReguMetric may change membership pricing in the future. When required or appropriate, existing subscribers will receive advance notice of a material price change before the new price applies to a future renewal. A price change does not retroactively alter a billing period already purchased.
15. Taxes
Subscription charges may be subject to sales, use or other taxes where required by applicable law. Any required tax may be calculated or collected by ReguMetric or its payment provider as appropriate.
16. Promotions and Special Offers
ReguMetric may introduce promotional pricing or special offers in the future. Any such offer may have separate eligibility, duration, renewal or pricing terms that will be disclosed with the offer. A promotion does not modify the standard membership terms for customers who are not participating in that promotion.
17. Service Changes
ReguMetric may add, modify or discontinue platform features as the research service develops. Changes to individual features do not automatically create a right to a refund unless required by law or expressly stated by ReguMetric.
18. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, ReguMetric encourages you to contact the company so the issue can be investigated. Nothing in this policy limits rights you may have through your payment provider, card issuer or applicable law.
19. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any cancellation, refund, disclosure or consumer-protection right that cannot lawfully be waived. Where applicable law provides a customer with greater rights than this policy, the applicable legal requirement controls.
20. Related Policies
Paid membership is also governed by the ReguMetric Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The Digital Asset & Research Disclaimer and other Legal & Trust documents apply to use of the research platform.
